Steve Silk's experience in PR and Marketing goes back over 20 years with assignments in over 30 countries throughout Asia, South America and Europe. Steve started his career with classic FMCG graduate training at Rowntree Mackintosh before joining RJ.Reynolds Nabisco where he held a number of senior management roles over 10 years. This included management at Global Event Management – a fully owned RJR subsidiary responsible for all BTL activation including Sponsorship for the Group. The most prominent of RJR’s brands, Camel and Winston, were involved in a number of International sponsorship activities which included Formula One, Formula Three, Formula 3000, Paris Dakar, Camel Trophy and Whitbread Round the World Sailing. Following on from RJR, Steve joined Jardine Communications as Business Director responsible for strategy and development before partnering with Tim Bampton to effect a management buy out and the setting up 63G.
