Tim Bampton has over 20 years experience in PR & communications. He spent four years in the culture sector, dealing with media relations for an international design company, followed by four years in corporate affairs for the UK’s leading motorsport leisure groups. This was followed by eight years working with the Williams and Honda Formula One teams, managing media and marketing communications. He then turned freelance to continue his Honda F1 work, as well as to work on other rugby, cricket and motorsports accounts. He joined Global Jardine as Director of Public Relations, managing a team that worked across all key accounts. At the same time, he ran campaigns and projects for the 555 State Express and Lucky Strike brands as an extension of the company’s BAT contract, before he partnered with Steve Silk to effect a management buy-out and form 63G.
